Shop for the holidays and earn money for NC Stage! |

It’s the holidays and perhaps you are doing a little online shopping. Good news! Now you can shop online from the convenience of your home or wherever AND help your favorite charity along the way. GoodSearch is an online search engine powered by Yahoo! and every time you do a search, the charity of your choice will receive a small donation.
But here’s the really cool part. Access your favorite online stores from GoodSearch and whatever you purchase during that session, a percentage of your transaction amount is donated to the charity of your choice.
It’s easy. Go to www.GoodSearch.com, where it says “enter your charity here…” type in North Carolina Stage Company and click verify. Then go down the page and click on GoodShop and you’ll be given a huge selection of online shopping choices with a description of the donation offered by that merchant. For example, Amazon.com offers a 1.5% donation. Apple offers a 1% donation. Dell, HP and Home Depot offer a 2% discount. So buy a computer, a printer or a drill and the merchant will donate 2% of the purchase price to NC Stage. Just from my searches and online shopping from this year I have raised $36 for NC Stage. Imagine if everyone on our email list did this! Well, I can tell you. It’d be mighty nice.
You can also choose any other registered non profit, or get your own non profit registered and get them started with GoodSearch.
Whichever way you go, go to GoodSearch and get started shopping. You’re going to search and shop anyway. Why not do this extra little step and help out your professional theatre at the same time?
