Veanna Black* is overjoyed to return to Asheville and NC Stage as Ms. Sun, having previously appeared as Elizabeth in in the next room or The Vibrator Play. With a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University, you can catch her working on stage, tv/film and commercials, as well as doing stand-up in the occasional comedy club. Recent theatre credits include We’ll Get Back to You, JaJa’s African Hair Braiding, The Green Book, and Good Bad People. Some of her favorite credits from television and film include Will Trent, Tyler Perry’s The Six Triple Eight, National Geographic’s Genius, Single Drunk Female, and The Third Saturday in October.
