DRAMA | COMEDY | HEART
Kenneth has his routine, and his routine suits him just fine. Bookstore by day, mai-tais at his favorite tiki bar by night — what more could a person need?
When Kenneth is unexpectedly laid off, the walls of the life he’s carefully constructed start to close in, and he’s forced to reckon with everything he’s been quietly avoiding: connection, vulnerability, and the terrifying possibility of something new. Winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Eboni Booth’s Primary Trust is a humorous and heartfelt play about what it costs to keep the world at arm’s length, and what it might feel like to finally let it in.
PRIMARY TRUST is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
