North Carolina Stage Company is offering Theatre Production Summer Camps happening in Downtown Asheville.
Theatre Production Camp: Ages 6-13
Camp based on The Phantom Tollbooth. Your student will rotate through workshops in acting, voice, improv, movement, costume design, set design, and more! The camp culminates in a fully realized production at NC Stage for friends and family. Camp is open to students ages 6-13. Please note: Students are required to be at least a rising 1st grader to enroll. A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to secure your spot. Hurry- Space is Limited!
Dates: June 29th- July 10th, 2015
Time: M-F from 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM*
*Before and after care available for an additional fee
Production: Friday, July 10th at 3:00 PM
Cost: $500.00
Price includes registration fees, camp t-shirt, and all production costs.
Advanced Production Camp: Ages 14-18
Your student will work with a professional director to put together a full length production over three weeks. Students will experience what it is like to be a professional actor. The camp culminates in a fully realized production at NC Stage with performances open to our subscribers and the public. The play will be chosen based on the students so that each student is given a role that will challenge them, but you can plan on performing in a contemporary, comedic production. A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to secure your spot. Space is limited!
Dates: July 13th- August 2nd, 2015
Time: M-F from 12:00 Noon- 5:00 PM
Production: July 30th- August 1st at 7:30 PM and August 2nd at 2:00 PM
Cost: $750.00
