How to purchase tickets
Our intimate, 99-seat theatre fills up quickly, so we suggest buying tickets in advance. Tickets will generally go on sale four weeks before opening.
For the 2008-2009 Season, we're thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Pack Place box office, offering more services and longer box office hours!
Subscribers will call (828) 239-0263 and press a special extension to reach an NCSC staff person.
Advance ticket sales
- By phone: Call (828) 239-0263 and press 1 for the box office. You'll reach a staff person at Pack Place who can handle your ticket purchase. Box office hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, and Sunday 1pm - 5pm
- In person: visit Pack Place box office in downtown Asheville at 2 S. Pack Square. Visit the Pack Place website for directions
- Online: buy tickets online any time of the day. Click here to purchase tickets online.*Please note, subscriber reservations and Pay-What-You-Can Night are not available online.
The NCSC box office opens an hour and a half before curtain. During that time, call 828-239-0263 or come to our box office at 15 Stage Lane, Asheville NC 28801. Click here for directions to the theatre.
Box office hours
The Pack Place box office is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am to 5pm, and Sunday 1pm to 5pm.
In addition, the NCSC box office reopens an hour and a half before curtain time.

Pay-What-You-Can Night
NC Stage believes that theatre is for everyone. Since its first production, NC Stage has made one performance of each Mainstage Production a "pay what you can" night. Patrons choose their own ticket prices, with a $6 minimum. This means that any patron, not just seniors and students, can get an affordable theatre ticket. These performances fill up quickly, so reservations are highly recommended. Call (828) 239-0263 for reservations.
Catalyst Series

Exchanges and Refunds
Refunds
North Carolina Stage Company is unable to offer ticket refunds. All sales final. If you are unable to use your tickets, you may return them to the box office prior to the scheduled show time and receive a tax credit for the full value of the tickets.
Exchanges
Ticket exchanges may be available up to 24 hours before the performance. Call the box office for information. Fees will apply.
Tickets on sale dates
Tickets are made available four weeks before each show, unless otherwise noted. FlexPass subscribers may make their reservations six weeks before each show.

Wednesdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
Catalyst Series
Show times will be determined by the producing company. Most show times are Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm, but please call the box office to confirm.
No Shame Theatre
Saturdays 10:00pm to participate, 11:00pm to watch.
Please check the master calendar for specific show dates.
Seating
NC Stage now has reserved seating! You will select the seats you prefer when you purchase tickets, so call early. Ticket prices vary by date. Each of our 99 seats has an excellent view of the stage, and all seats on the same night are the same price.
NOTE: Special arena seating arrangement for A Number
We've added a section for performances of A Number! When you go to the ticketing system, things will look slightly different, but it's the same space with a different arrangement. Please note that when selecting seats in the North section, the rows are the opposite of what you see here (so the stage is above the section instead of below).
