Now in its fifth season, The Catalyst Series was created to nurture emerging local theatre companies. NC Stage provides free use of the theatre, technical support, and box office support, and the result is some of the most innovative and original theatre in Asheville.
Since it debuted in 2007, the (For)Play Series has evolved and expanded, but its core remains the same: professional actors getting together to read compelling scripts. Totally unrehearsed and unstaged, these readings put the focus squarely on the text. Always free to the public.
